Burgess Butternut Winter Squash
Cucurbita maxima
110 days to maturity. Arguably the best flavored of all the winter squash. Thick, low fiber, orange flesh, cooks dry and taste similar to a sweet potato. Fruit has a deep green skin, flecked with gray. 4-5 pound size with a turban shape.
